When Slats took off and disappeared behind the horizon, I got my camera ready because I knew what he was up to. He went to do test rounds for the afternoon participation event that included airplanes, Air Boss, scheduling and safety briefing, precision flying, and a yellow balloon a.k.a. balloon busting participation event. The rules were simple - bust one yellow balloon per pass. The more the busts the more the points for the aviator and greater the ovation and woohooing from the spectators. Read more…
