USS Yorktown
Gary Rosier, Contributing Photographer

The USS Yorktown (CV-10), named after the USS Yorktown (CV-5) which sunk during the Battle of Midway, served through the end of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and was even used as a recovery ship for Apollo 8. She now rests as a museum and National Historic Landmark at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum in South Carolina. Gary Rosier takes us along as he visited the USS Yorktown and the USS Clamagore submarine.
