Last week we had a look at the Hawker Hurricane which, along with the Supermarine Spitfire, fought during the Battle of Britain when Germany sought to defeat Britain in order to rule over all of Europe. Though both these aforementioned aircraft were considered the "saviours of Britain," the Hurricane was the higher scoring aircraft during this critical period at the beginning of the war. Read more…
