For those of you who grew up there, visited there, or have just watched certain Paul Hogan films, you'll immediately recognize that most ubiquitous Australian greeting, "G'day!" For those slightly more versed in the land and culture, you might recognize the double use of it as a reference to Australia's beloved country icon Slim Dusty. He, of course, wrote the song and sang it for decades; "G'day, G'day!" Happily, in 2013 I was able to visit Australia on a mission trip, and I have the Slim Dusty CDs to prove it. Alright, that doesn't prove anything in the age of online ordering and overnight shipping, but I do have photos of a visit to a wonderful "top end" aviation museum! Read more…
