Bob
Frisch was born in 1924 and entered the Army Air Corps
flying school in 1943. He graduated in April 1944 and was
assigned to the 339th Fighter Group in October 1944.
During
World War II, Frisch flew 61 missions and destroyed six
enemy aircraft on the ground and damaged one in the air.
He remained in the Air Force for 27 years and flew P-40,
F-51, F-86, F-89 and F-102 aircraft. He also delivered
the first F-106 to the Air Force in 1959. He retired from
service in December 1969.
After the military, Frisch entered the real estate business,
becoming a broker and, eventually, a partner in the largest
real estate firm in Spokane, Washington, in 1981. He retired
from selling real estate in 1995 and became a real estate
developer.
He remains active in that business today. |
